🩺 2025 AHA Update — 11/5/25

AHA 2025 courses and certifications are now live in Hovn.

All 2020 courses and materials have been renamed to show "2020 Guidelines." The new 2025 versions are now published.

⚠️ Before you publish and schedule 2025 sessions, review the Guardrails below.

🧱 Guardrails (important)

Do not rename 2020 courses. They’re already linked to AHA data.
Custom course titles won’t auto-add “2020.” If you use custom titles, add “2020” yourself.
No cross-moving students: You can’t move learners from 2020 sessions into 2025 sessions.
- If they’ve already paid: add them to the new (2025) session as a manual booking, mark the order Paid, then cancel their booking in the 2020 class.
Pilot first: Before creating lots of sessions, run 1–2 trial sessions per new course to iron out content delivery, teaching flow, and eCard issuance.
Archive courses: Once you're fully satisfied and no longer plan to offer old guidelines, you can archive the courses.

Create your materials so they’re ready to attach to the new course. Need help? See: Adding a Material
Create a 2025 course offering. Guide: Create a Course Offering
Schedule sessions for that course. Guide: Create a Session
Update your website links to point to the new course/session pages. Guide: Website Integration
(Optional) Archive the old (2020) course once you’re fully on 2025. This stops new registrations into the old sessions.
(Optional) Remove empty sessions from archived courses:
- Delete them manually, or
- Email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]?subject=Delete%20Empty%20Sessions) with booking page links (e.g., https://hovn.app/admin/beginbeat-training/course-offerings/cmhay8eqb001gl0jzn70g0hd3) and we’ll delete all empty sessions for you.

We’ve update Courses, Certifications, and Materials to reflect the guideline changes.
