Who this is for: Service Provider owners and admins.

Outcome: Private $0 courses created, (optional) clients added, roles decided, instructors invited, e‑card issuing configured (optional), and an instructor quick start link ready to send.

What is “Record Submission” (vs. Running a Session)

Record Submission: instructors submit the official course record (roster + outcomes + files) for classes they run without Hovn’s registration & payments. Use Private, $0 courses for clean record‑keeping.
Sessions: the full lifecycle in Hovn — public/private listings, registration, payments, materials, reminders, attendance, roster, certificates.

💡 Choose Record Submission if you already handle sign‑ups/payments elsewhere and simply need Hovn as your system of record. Choose Sessions when you want Hovn to manage the entire class & student lifecycle.

Step 1 — Create a Private, $0 Course

Create one course per certification where you’ll accept roster‑only submissions.

Go to Courses → New Course
Name → use the official title (e.g., BLS Provider (Record Submission)).
Price → $0 (no orders should be created for record‑only flows).
Privacy → Private (not listed publicly).
Materials → Skip unless you specifically provide handouts for internal use.
Save.

✅ Goal: A clean, private, zero‑price container that instructors will select when submitting rosters.
