Materials are preloaded resources provided by the certifying agencies (AHA, ARC, HSI, etc.), plus any custom items you add yourself.

In Hovn, Materials do four things:

1. Represent agency-issued products (keycodes, digital access, eBooks).
2. Deliver those assets automatically through the Student Portal.
3. Control checkout behavior (pricing, optional/required behavior).
4. Serve as reusable building blocks for all your courses.

The Material Catalog

Hovn includes a Material Catalog that we maintain for every major training agency.

This catalog includes:

• Standard AHA, ARC, HSI materials (and more)
• Correct agency product mappings
• Delivery method (keycode, link, physical)
• A reference price from the agency site
• Preloaded summaries and descriptions
