Set Up Your Instructor Profile

Who this is for:

Instructors invited to teach or submit class records in Hovn.

Outcome:

Your instructor profile is set up (contact info, Agency IDs, instructor certifications). You know how to switch into the correct organization and which workflow to use:

Record Submission (roster‑only) or Run a Session (full lifecycle).

Overview & Why This Matters


Your Hovn instructor profile connects across every training provider you work with. Completing your profile once (contact info, Agency IDs, and instructor certifications) lets you submit accurate rosters and, if enabled, issue certifications—all in one system of record.

Step 1 — Accept Your Invite


  1. Check your email for “You’ve been invited to join Hovn.”
  2. Click Accept Invite and sign in using the same email that was invited.
  3. Didn’t get the email? Log in at hovn.app with the invited email and you will be directed to Accept Invite.

💡 Tip: Use a personal email you’ll always have access to. Your instructor profile travels with you across training centers.

Step 2 — Complete Your Profile


  1. Click your Name → Profile (bottom‑left).
  2. Add your Contact information and Work address.
  3. Save.

✅ Keep this current—admins use it for rosters, certificates, and contact.
